SnagMaster — Terms of Service
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the SnagMaster mobile app and related services (“the Service”). By downloading or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the app.
2. The Service
SnagMaster is a site snagging and inspection app. It is local-first: your projects, items and photos are stored on your device and the app is fully usable without an account. If you create an account, your data is also backed up and synced to our cloud so you can use it on other devices and share projects with people you invite. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.
- The app is intended for professional and business use.
4. Your content
- You keep ownership of the projects, notes and photos you create (“Your Content”).
- You grant us a limited licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service (for example, to sync it and share it with teammates you invite).
- You are responsible for Your Content and for having any necessary permission to capture and share it — including photographs of sites, property or people, and any location data.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by: breaking the law; infringing others’ rights; uploading unlawful or harmful content; attempting to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service; or using it to store data you have no right to hold.
6. Subscriptions and billing
- Core features are free. We may offer paid plans (e.g. cloud backup, sync, sharing and pro features) as subscriptions.
- Any paid subscriptions are sold and billed through your app store account (Google Play). Prices, billing periods and taxes are shown at purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. You manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account; refunds are handled under Google Play’s policies.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us and our licensors. These Terms don’t grant you any rights in it except to use the app as intended.
8. Disclaimers
SnagMaster is a tool to help you record and organise inspections. It does not provide professional, engineering, legal or safety advice, and is not a substitute for your own professional judgement or any required certification. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profit or business arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of important data.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account (see the account deletion page). We may suspend or end access if these Terms are breached or where necessary to protect the Service or other users.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by a new effective date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless local consumer law gives you other rights.
